katiey brought up the topic of exchanging wedding gifts with your groom in our beehive today. My mom wanted to buy Mr. Bee a fancy watch, which is a traditional groom’s gift in Korean culture. But Mr. Bee didn’t want it, so he got nothing. 
Poor Mr. Bee.
If you are, what type of gift are you giving?
Mr. Daisy will come out of this all with a watch and a plasma tv. not a bad haul, i suppose!
He got a fancy watch for our engagement.
For the wedding he will be getting cufflinks and i just had a custom canvas made for him out of his fav picture of us. I had bookmarked http://www.customcanvases.com after seeing it featured on here months ago by Mrs. Firefly and loved it.

no ideas on a gift yet. he’s not one for watches. im thinking of doing the boudior photos that everyone is doing, but that’s a whole nother post in itself! 
He’s getting a pair of Globe white shoes. He has an obsession with white shoes.
A friend got awesome tix to a sporting event for his favorite team.
I’m getting FI cologne, that way that scent reminds him of our wedding (hopefully). I would love it to be a surprise, but I wouldn’t want to get him something that he doesn’t like, so he’ll be with me to pick it out. I might get him a little surprise for the day of the wedding.
A cool idea I would love to do, but don’t have the money is buy an iPod, engrave it and put a playlist of special songs on there.
I plan on buying him a new plasma tv, but we are going together to pick one out. My parents were going to buy him a watch, but my FI said no, so he’s getting a men’s hanbok to wear for his paebaek to substitute for a tux/suit.
We are not exchanging gifts, but we’re exchanging letters. I think that will mean more to me than any material gift.
i was going to get him a nice watch… but i don’t think it’ll hold out till the wedding. we’ll figure something out though.

my fiance doesn’t want a watch either… so he’s going to get a new brooks brothers suit. he’ll wear it when i wear my new hanbok from his family.
A really nice watch…even if it’s something he’ll only wear to special occasions I think it’s important to give him something…and I want him to have a nice watch..hehe
hahahaha I guess the plasma TV idea is out there! 
but the secret is, that’d be something I can enjoy too~
Mr. Bluebell has been dyyyyyying to ditch our inherited antique bed and get one that, um, doesn’t squeak and sway, so I told him we could do that as a wedding present to each other. But then I also have been wanting (VERY small) diamond earrings, so I’m thinking I’ll give him the bed, and he’ll give me the earrings and then we’re set! (I’d be fine keeping the creaking bed so that really is a present for him.)
We’re also going to write letters and that’s the only part of this that will actually be exchanged on the wedding day!
My fiancee has been dying to know if I’ll change my lasy name to his. My gift to him on our wedding day will be my name. I’ll send him a card that morning revealing the decision. I can’t think of anything “material” that would make him happier.
I purchashed for my hubby to be a Movado watch he has always wanted one.
FI has been begging me for a “man-gagement present,” as he calls it. I resisted for awhile thinking I would buy him something for the wedding, but then all his watches broke simultaneously. I am currently in the process of paying off a very nice watch for him that he’d better keep FOREVER. Sometimes I’m too good to him ; ) Although, he did buy my sparkly ring! I think on the wedding day we will just exchange letters, I’m not expecting anything.
my parents gave us his & her rolexes that are the same as the ones they have. i gave him a new hugo boss suit as his wedding gift.
