When I first saw all those wedding portraits with parasols, I thought they were pretty cheesy. But after learning that some of these outdoor photo sessions can take up to an hour or two in the scorching sun, I can appreciate their practical benefits!
Initially, I was tempted to get a colorful parasol. I’m attracted to color the same way bugs are attracted to light. If you dangle two objects in front of me, I will instinctively go for the more colorful one.
But after some thought, I’ve decided to go for something classier- a white or neutral toned parasol.
I’ve narrowed it down to these four finalists.

Help me pick! Which one is your favorite?!
(I’m leaning towards Lace Parasol B. I don’t have any lace at all on my dress because it just seemed too delicate and feminine for my personality and our laid back wedding. Since then, I’ve grown to adore lace more and more… and I think a lace parasol might just be the perfect accessory- romantic yet playful!)

Uh-oh. I know this doesn’t help since you have one vote for B and one for D now, but I like C. The design is gorgeous!
the lace is lovely for A&B, but they’re more umbrella shaped to me (I like the parasol shape more). I vote for C - gorgeous design!
oh i’m using a parsol, too! i got the very first one you posted - 4 of them in lavender for my bridesmaids, and i ordered one in white for myself.
i vote for B too. it’s very elegant and girly.
i agree with jaycee about the first two being too umbrella-like. and they’re more like in the older days (i don’t know what decade - but the ones with dresses with big butts :P). if that’s the theme of your wedding, then i’d go with them. but if not, i’d say c or d.
between c & d, i would pick the one closest to the color of the gown/dress.
I picked lace parasol B before even reading what you wrote. It is the winner by far!
Lace Parasol B…the first one seems too childish. Parasols are so gorgeous! I wish I had many of them.

C and D are the prettiest.

i like c. it’s the less umbrella looking and has the nice detail that d lacks.
My vote goes for D, but if you were to pick a lace one go with B. =)
I like B but have a feeling it will cast some funky shadows across your face in certain lighting.
i agreew with newly_engaged. B is beautiful but you would to be careful with the lightening. Maybe you could line it with the same material as your dress? C is my second choice.
The blue (can that count as your something blue??) and the classic white.
I like D, it’s cute. =) But that’s because I’m not a fan of lace, and I like things simple, and I don’t really like that umbrella shape like some of the other readers.
