Pottery Barn

October 1st, 2006 @ 6:48 pm by Mrs. Blueberry

Pottery Barn has soooo much fantastic stuff right now!

I’m absolutely in love with these:

At $69.00 apiece they’re fairly reasonably priced, and would be great to integrate into wedding! Perhaps as an unusual card box, to hold the programs in before the ceremony, or even a lovely gift box. But we all know that most Pottery Barn stuff can be found elsewhere, so I bet if you looked around at a flea market, farmer’s market or craft show you could find something similar for even less $$$.

And wouldn’t these make lovely centerpieces for a beach-theme wedding?

They’re clearance priced for only $6–so inexpensive! You could decorate them with hanging frames and pictures of the couple, or maybe on a take on the “Christmas” idea, make your own sand ornaments to hang–seashells, sea stars, etc.

And a set of these could make a great bridesmaid or groomsman’s gift.

They’re on clearance too, from $7-$10 apiece. You could even tuck in some tiny (hotel-sized) bottles of liquor, tiny umbrellas, or some other cute “party” gimmick.

It is hard to find a card holder that doesn’t stink of “give us money and put it in this big fluffy box!” I think these wooden boxes are a nice alternative.
