The gown, that is…
By request, here’s the scoop on my bridal gown. It’s Reem Acra’s “Enchanting” and I purchased it at Louise Blum in Houston. Sure, I could have easily purchased it in New Orleans at Town & Country, but really the service at Louise Blum doesn’t even compare!! Love that place! And not once have I regretted the decision to purchase it out of state. Yes, it does suck every once in a while that we have to make a 4 hour drive to Houston and 4 hours back for a fitting, or the veil or the bridesmaid dresses. But, whatever. I love that place, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

I thought it was a Reem too! How fitting thats it name was Enchanting and you looked so very enchanting in your pictures too! I took similar pictures in my Reem Magnolia in a manoresque setting but nothing compares to those beautiful trees you had in your background!

Hi. I did a google search for this dress and found your blog. I wore this dress at my wedding in 2004 and I still absolutely adore it. I wanted to give you a quick piece of advice though- my favorite part of the dress was the beading on the train. When my mom bustled it for our reception, she accidently did it the wrong way and the beading didn’t show. Make sure you have someone with you at your fitting to learn how to do it correctly.
