Hi!

I was hoping you could help me out. I’m looking to make some magnets for save the dates that are going to be included in our invites rather than sent in advance. I’ve already designed it, but now need to find somewhere relatively inexpensive to have them made. I checked iprint and vistaprint, but neither seem to have circular custom magnets for as cheap as the ‘business card’ ones they offer.

Do you know of any places I can look?

The only magnet printing site I know of is magnetstreet.com…

If you have access to a nice color printer, you can also DIY by buying 8.5×11in magnet sheets from Staples to print and cut them yourself. That’s what i’m gonna do with mine.

Along with the above poster’s suggestion, if you print them yourself and want to cut out a flawless circle, fiskars makes an adjustable circle cutter that works great. Also, you might be able to find a paper punch that is in the circle size you need (I think it could cut through the inkjet/laser printer magnet sheets).

Magnet Valley http://www.magnetvalley.com has 3″ circular self adhesive
I ordered but haven’t yet recieved so i can’t comment on the quality.

I’m going to print my STD on a 3″ adhesive sticker and mount on the magnet so I don’t have to cut anything…..

I’m planning to use http://www.magnetqueen.com. Their website is a little crazy but I know many people who have used them for baby announcements and the product is great — much thicker and sturdier than others. If they are too expensive, I’ve heard that Costco also does magnets.

i am in a similar situation! i am looking for oval stickers, about 4 x 6, like the black and white type seen on cars. i checked business promo sites, and those have excellent prices but sometimes the minimum order quantity can be really high! well … at least you’ll have extras:

Thanks for all your AWESOME suggestion!!! I’m going to try out the avery magnet paper first and see how that turns out.
D….do you have a fiskars circle cutter? I’m wondering how well it works and if it’s worth it to buy.

I used freshimpression.us for my magnets. I think they might be able to do circle magnets. They offered 100 magnets for $99, and envelopes for only $20. And for some reason, she threw in another 100-150 extra magnets for free! Ask for Kelly.
