Ed note: You may remember Jasmine (the author of this blog) from her honeymoon cruise posts and her RSVP Scrapbook cards that we’ve featured in the past.

After I got engaged, my friend Emily and I looked at invitations I liked and bounced ideas around. We weighed different options but in the end Paul and I trusted Emily, so we pretty much gave her free reign. We knew she would amaze us as she is so creative, and we knew she would put her heart into making us happy.
When I finally received the proof, I was floored. Emily had fulfilled my wishes and more. She blended everything I wanted and added some neat touches of her own to truly make our invitations personal, memorable, and unbelievably gorgeous! Everyone raved about how unique and personal they were, and how they had never seen an invitation quite like it. My boss’s wife said she was planning on saving it as a template to use for her own daughter’s wedding… her daughter just started kindergarten this September! Needless to say my invites were a huge hit and it was all due to Emily’s vision, creativity, hard work, and love.
The Work:
My program and invitation. My invitation was a storybook.

Closeup of the outside of the invitation. The Jasmine & Paul piece is a bellyband.

When you slide it off to read the inside of the invitation, you see this:

The first page of the invite. Emily hand drew all the pictures in the invite and they really do resemble Paul and I.

The second page

The third page

The response card was a postcard (Emily’s idea). It not only saved us money, but Emily asked the guests to draw or write something on the back for Paul and I to include in our wedding scrapbook.

You can see a small sample of what we received back with our response cards here.

Tony
I always knew I wanted Tony to shoot my wedding. He is beyond incredible behind the camera and he is a wonderful friend - who better to share such an important day with me. This was probably the easiest wedding decision I ever made.
Tony’s work speaks for itself so here are just a few sample shots from my wedding (I have close to 1000 and close to 300 from my engagement session with him). Tony truly captured the emotion, beauty, and spirit of my wedding.

Emily and Tony are both amazingly gifted in separate fields, but I can truly say they both made my wedding by simply doing what they do best. I recommend them both with the highest praise I can bestow on anyone.
If anyone wants contact information please let me know as I would be happy to share.
perfect bride & groom, perfect wedding!
