Good riddance. I was very insulted the first time I heard that there was a designer in my city who only made her dresses in a few small sizes. I’m a size 14. I’m not fat, I’m six feet tall and healthfully built, with wide shoulders and an hourglass figure. Am I not good enough to get married? Just not good enough for Candice Solomon’s dresses, I guess–in her opinion. I wonder if she made a few more sizes, from 0-16, or even, gasp, for plus-size brides, she might still be in business.
