Weddingbee reader Josephine sent us a link to these custom handmade money box/card holder boxes from ModernBride’s Etsy shop.

You choose all the colors, shapes, size, and design and each piece is individually hand painted, crafted or adorned with fabric. Prices start at $40 for 1 box, $55 for 2, $70 for 3, plus $20 s&h.

With a money/card box this pretty, it just may outshine the cake! :P

oh my gosh. please. out of all the things you could spend on - you’ll spend it on a 40 box?!
I borrowed mine from a friend and it held all the cards just fine.

I have to agree with katiey…those are a bit much. I bought a small wooden storage box with a hinged lid from the Container Store. Now that the wedding is over, I can store the cards in the box, which fits neatly on our bookshelves.

They’re cute, but way overpriced. Looks looks like an easy enough DIY project. Plus, guests won’t have to guess where the gifts table is!

cute. yes. but a silly thing to spend money on in my opinion.

I think im just going to buy a pretty box from the container store or kates paperie and reuse it later..

these do look neat, but i agree, a bit pricey.
