About Mrs. Lily

Oooh, It Feels So Good!

October 17th, 2006 @ 3:11 pm by Mrs. Lily

… to have my Save the Date’s off at the printer! Woo-hoo. Mr. Lily designed them based on an invitation we had seen and liked. They are so pretty, I can’t wait to share them with you.

We went to a couple of different printers that had been recommended to us. We narrowed it down to two places: GM Printing (333 Broome Street) in Chinatown and Artale Graphics (131 W 35th Street, 9th Floor). In the end we chose GM printing because we thought both places were equally qualified and they gave us the lower price.

We are having offset printing done for the Save the Date’s, but GM also does letterpress too (they don’t design though)! They said they should be ready in a week. It’s not long to wait, but I can’t help but want them NOW!

GM Printing is a good place. While doing freelance design a few years ago, I worked with them to print a client’s corporate stationery (letterheads + envelopes). Their service is good and their price competitive.

btw save the dates were like the biggest milestone when we were planning - what a sigh of relief to get them out.
