Woohoo. Having to drive down there on a weeknight to turn in the application and deposit in person was a pita. Good thing the wonderful Mr. Lime did it! And good thing he has a motorcycle… boo to LA traffic!

The Clarke Estate. In August. EEK. Time to start getting my planning butt into gear. The rental fees are not that cheap unless you are a resident of the city since it is a city-owned property. Time to find a very reasonable caterer. The good news is we can bring in our own alcohol - Bevmo/Costco/whatever local wine shop that delivers, sets up, and allows returns, here we come!

Like any good Modernist, I <3 red & white.

I also <3 bamboo. However, I do not <3 trellises or terra cotta planters. It’s ok, no one else will care.

Lovely architecture - the perfect blend of California Spanish wanna-be, Modern, and white cube for me, but not for everyone.

Again, love the weird shade of red that accents the otherwise all white & grey house.

The ceremony lawn. I think I’d rather get married under the trees and bamboo than in front of the white trellis. We shall see…
