Calling All The Fashion Police Out There!

October 19th, 2006 @ 10:23 am by Mrs. Peach

Okay… soooo I picked out my three top outfits I want to share with you. Before I post the pictures, I have two comments…

1. I am a bit shy, so please excuse my hidden face in the pictures. It kinda looks freaky actually now that I look at it. Sowie… I will reveal my identity in time, for now, please be patient with me. Thanks!

2. I wish I could say I’m super fashionable, but I think sometimes my sense of fashion is a little off. Puhaha. So yeah, please be honest and let me know what you really think! For ex. I ran these pictures by my sister and she thought the skirt outfit made me look short (or shorter than I really am and I’m pretty short) and the folded jeans looked weird on me. Honesty is the best policy to make Miss Peach look lovely for her e-pics.

Outfits 1, 2, 3:

Do you like my model wannabe poses? Haha. Vote for your favorite! (additional comments would also be helpful) Also, if Mr. Peach were to wear a black sweater and jeans, would that change your choice? If so, to what?

Gracias!!

Which is your favorite outfit?

I picked outfit #2, but I can see #1 being really cute if you switched the skirt to a shorter black one. Or a dark denim one that’s a couple inches shorter–I think your sister was right; the proportions of #1 right now are a little off and make you look shorter.

But outfit #2 is still my favorite, just without the folded hem (agreeing with your sister again here!)…A slightly darker shade of denim would help elongate your legs, too.

hiiii welcome to weddingbee. (sorry it’s late hehe)

i voted for 3. but if you don’t fold #2 then i vote for that! i think that you’ll look good no matter what because these pics are nice!

I would also suggest not having the folded jeans in #2. If they’re too long, you could possibly just bring them to a tailor and hem them. Otherwise, I love outfit #2!

how about #2 with a light colored top instead of white? like a light light pink or blue or yellow– just something to break up the neutrals?

btw, i don’t think the skirt outfit makes you look short but if you wanted to look taller you could wear a shorter top that stops closer to your natural waist. that always seems to elongate people’s figures. hope this helps!

I like # 1. #2 and #3 tops make you look a little bulky and probably match TOO well with your Mr. Peach.

I’m camera shy too — there is only one Miss Lily pic out there so far. I’m gonna have to get over it at some point :-)

I’m a shorty too, so I feel you on having to roll the jeans up. I think the jacket in #2 would go great with Mr. Peach’s black sweater. Like everyone, I would suggest either darker jeans or black pants.

I agree, outfit #2 and #3 seem a bit too bulky and too similar to what the Mr. is wearing.. I would go with outfit #1 but with a darker shade and shorter hem for the bottom.

#2!! But without the folded hem and with some added color instead of a white top.

If you go with #1, you should wear different shoes. I think it’s the knee-high boots that make you look shorter. And I really liked #2, but without the folded hem. It just looks weird.

#2 but no folded hem! And brighter colored top under the jacket (LOVE the jacket!) Maybe darker jeans if Mr. Peach is wearing jeans too, I think similar colored jeans would make you look too matchey..

i picked #2 but, like everyone else, unfold the jeans and had a colorful top. i think that’d look best with mr. peach’s proposed outfit

outfit #2 is great, and like everyone else, unfold the jeans. another great way of adding a splash of color is to wear a pair of colorful shoes (like green or pink or white or gold heels or flats). The smaller accessories always make an outfit pop. Also, if the jean length is a problem and needs some kind of fold, something i’ve done is to make bigger folds to create a more cropped/capri pant leg look. looks great with the colorful flats/heels!

Unfold the jeans ~ it’s too harsh on us vertically challenged gals.

Wear a slighty higher heel if that will help; otherwise, it’s very cute.

I like #1, maybe with a brown skirt. i like the look of #2. i’m a shorty too so i either get higher heels or i fold up the hem and then fold halfway down so the light part(reverse) part of the jeans don’t show.

for #1 i would maybe accesorize with a belt or folded scarf around the hips or even wear a different color tank top that’s slightly longer for the layered look.

#2 i think a belt would help make the outfit more complete.

I like number 2 with darker jeans that aren’t cuffed (your legs look longer in picture 3). You could add in a more colorful top, but I think the one you have will photogrpah nicely, too. Just loose the jean cuffs.

i like #1. it’s very slimming on you (of which you obviously are!) and flattering for your figure. the next two make me think you look shorter than the first. maybe it’s just me though.

#2 minus the folded jeans, plus it will coordinate but not be too matchy-matchy with Mr. Peach.

love the jacket in #2, but you should find some jeans that don’t need to be cuffed. or you can alter them.

ok, i am truly a stylist by profession. So, I would say outfit number 2 but uncuff the jeans, that is so out. i would also look for a jacket that is a little shorter, the longer the jacket and it has a tendency to cut you in half and make your legs look shorter. I would def uncuff the jeans and if they are too long have them hemmed but make sure that keep the stiching on the bottom.

i think you look the cutest in #2. i’m not sure if it’s too cold where you are, but just going with jeans and white top looks casual and chic.
