it seems like the appropriate contest for the garter would be either ideas on what to wear under your wedding dress, both practical i.e. spanx and maybe not so much i.e. ruffled undies. Or where people look for their wedding NIGHT attire. Like the shoe contest.
For the book perhaps the best idea on how to merge you and your fiance’s lives i.e. how did people handle joint money or how you divide household chores or even the toliet seat issue.
The scrap booking prize should go to the best engagement picture. Although I don’t know how people will feel about flashing their mugs on the world wide web. But its an idea. If not picture, perhaps best engagement picture location or outfit.
Haha, I like the worst wedding gift one!
How about most embaressing moment at a wedding (either you’ve seen or had happen to you)? Not very original, I know….heh. But I think that stuff’s funny!
For the book: I agree with the rules of your relationship, i.e. I always cook and he always does the dishes..
For the Scrapbook: Best trip taken with your guy, or best memorie, something you would scrapbook
For the garter: a sexy suprise youhave given your guy (pg of course) i.e. showing up at his office for a lunch date, drive in movies, something to that effect.
how about the biggest jerk someone has ever dated and the lessons she learned…or something to that extent. the best story and lesson would win the book.
and for the garter, the best garter toss story..like miss orange’s story about how she had to put the garter on her then boyfriend (now FI). i thought that was hillarious.
For the book:
* Best Advice from the married/engaged to the single girl
* How did you know he was THE one?
* Best “I dated a jerk” story
For the scrapbook:
* Best date you’ve been on
* Most happiest moment you remember with your man
For the garter:
* What makes you feel sexy?
The rest of my ideas are R-rated. haha

I “third” the “I dated a jerk” story - how you KNEW they weren’t “the one”
Since so many people responded to the scrapbooking posts today, you could do a layout contest of “why I love weddingbee” 
You should do worst horror in-law or in-law-to-be story.
Or perhaps for scrapbooking most meaningful pictures taken with your husband/boyfriend/fiance.
Lingerie, best bacholerette party. Or perhaps best gift given at said party.

scrapbooking! i’m wondering what alternatives to mypublisher/digital photoalbums that brides have used.. ways to include invitations, pictures, and other special things.
.. or what about different ways that people organize all of their wedding ideas, inspirations, etc.? i know a lot of people have their own “system” and it would be great to see how others do it
For the scrapbooking kit, have contestents submit a completed scrapbook page of some aspect of their relationship (e.g., engagement, wedding, dating). Most creative layout wins.
