Reader Buzz: Seasons

October 20th, 2006 @ 12:47 pm by Reader Buzz

Mrs. Bee here.

This is the view of the rooftop garden across the street from the window I sit beside all day. I hope I can live there one day soon. :P

The reason for the picture is because fall is my favorite season and it would have been my ideal time of year to get married. We got married in March which really worked out because fall would have been too long to wait, and we didn’t have to compete for vendors in that off month.

But if I could do it again, I’d love to get married in fall. Or perhaps a destination wedding. ;)

What season are you getting married in?

I love fall, too, and it’s a shame we don’t have a “true” fall out here. That’s one thing I miss about the East Coast.

We were aiming for a November wedding, but our venue closes down on October. We had to move it all the way up to August, so now it’ll be during the heat of a SoCal summer. That’s OK as summer is my 2nd favorite season.

As my name suggests, winter!
I love the snow. I am getting married in Colorado on December 2nd. Oh yeah, and the ceremony is outside…

We’re getting married right in the middle of fall- November. Because in LA there aren’t so much “seasons” as there are just temperature changes, I’m trying to let fall be our theme, so I can finally experience real fall. :)

We’re getting married one year from today! Fall in New England is gorgeous and it is the perfect time to get married based on our rather busy calendar this year.

I love the fall! Just the thought of the fall makes me feel warm and cozy. Actually, I would like to have a wedding every season of the year! Our wedding was this past April in Maui. Destination weddings are wonderful!

We’re getting married in on the cusp of summer and fall — mid-September. I’ve actually always wanted to get married in May, but, alas, my FI’s brother is getting married then.

We are getting married in the fall… in 8 days actually!!! We started dating in the fall, so it is a sentimental time for us, plus it was a good engagement time — 9 months (enough time to plan and not too long to wait.. although it felt too long a lot of the time!)

I’m a mid Sept bride, too…so I guess I’m a mix of summer and fall?? That’s what I’m doing with my colors anyway…

I, too, am a closet fall fan but am having a summer wedding. I would have loved to have a fall colored, leafy, pumpkin-y wedding. I am excited for my bright summer wedding, love the Fourth of July (I am a 777-er), and the location, but if for some reason 777 hadn’t been available, fall might have been it.

I’m a teacher, too, and summer vaca is important time not needed to be taken off from work. So, the world makes sense again for P and me. :O)
