A huge trend I’ve noticed lately is pink in wedding color palettes. I love pink–it’s my favorite color ever. But it’s not one of our wedding colors. Why? Mr. Blueberry isn’t all that nuts about it, and besides–we wanted to run apart from the pack a bit. But with it being as common as it is, I’m constantly running across gorgeous ideas incorporating pink, in everything from cakes to decorations, even wedding and engagement rings.
But there’s no denying that 50% of all newlyweds are male, and most of them probably aren’t all that wild about pink. I wonder if they feel their masculinity is compromised by this abundance of pink.
Is pink one of your wedding colors? Is your FI ok with it?
Pink and Brown, baby! 
Mr. Strawberry was not pleased. I convinced him by telling him it was a compromise…one masculine color for one girly one!

Not sure if I’m going to use pink though.
I’m thinking lime green (or some kind of green) chocolate brown and white/ivory for our fall wedding.
Though I love the way my fiance looks in a nice button down pink shirt…

FI said he wouldn’t marry me if pink was in our color scheme-just kidding! (sadly, I’m not really joking…)
Pink’s my favorite color also. Our wedding colors are pink, green, and white. FI is fine with it because he knows how much I love the color. It doesn’t matter to him as long as he or his best men and groomsmen don’t have to wear pink.
we had pink but it was limited to the florals. everything else was green/cream/brown. if the fiance had his way, he probably would have preferred a blue and black combination.
I am like Miss Strawberrry. I think FI was reluctant with our colors, pink and orange, but orange is his favorite color and pink is mine, so it was a compromise–we both win.
Just last night we joked around about how ten years from now people will hate our colors, but then in twenty years they’ll be popular again. ;O) We’ll always like them, though, just like my mom and her peach and brown wedding (SEE how it all comes full circle?!?).
Oh yeah, and we’re limiting it to florals and other scattered decor, too. The gals are wearing black and the buys will wear a bright tie.
no. i didn’t want anything to do with pink, until i started planning. then i saw pink everywhere!! it’s beautiful, but i’m not using it.
I have a pink engagement ring! But my wedding theme will be blue and white and maybe a tiny hint of pink. =P
Yes pink is one of our colors, and its my guy who picked it!! I myself tried to convince him of a combo of blue and purple, but nooo. Then a pled for greens, but he decided that he wanted a “happy color”: Pink, to go with the greens…
Now we have a green+pink color theme, and everyone will think that its ME who forced him to go along with the “girlie-color” :/ Ill try to sneek in a disclaimer in our weddingprograms…

i’m doing brown, pink, green & purple.. mr. violet is perfectly okay with it.. =)
Pale, pale pink is one of our accent colors, and FH likes it.
We did bright pink and orange. (You can check out my knottie bio.) My hubby was such a trooper that he even wore a hot pink tie. Now that’s true love. I thought he looked great with it on.

hot pink is one of our wedding colors! and my fiance’ is more than ok with it… he just wants to be married!
My husband had to wear a pink vest and tie for a wedding this summer, and he was not thrilled.
My FH said he didn’t want pink, so, although I thought it would be great with dark brown, I decided against it. I later regretted it a bit, but settled on orange and am very happy with it. It just makes things a little more difficult. Pink is everywhere! And some oranges look too “halloween-y.” But it’s one of very few things that FH had a say in, so I had to give him something>
i loooooove pink. pink, pink, pink! alas mr. bee thought it was too feminine so we went with red and celadon.
