Recently I saw a magazine layout where wedding guests filled out vintage post cards with well wishes and advice, and placed them inside a vintage mailbox. The mother of the bride then mailed one of the post cards each day so the bride and groom would receive a daily message from each of their wedding guests. I loved the idea and was reminded of it when Apartment Therapy featured Mahvelous Mailboxes on their site yesterday.
Mahvelous Mailboxes carries a huge selection of mailboxes from your basic rural mailbox ($39-$79) to a whimsical fire truck mailbox ($299).

You can use a mailbox as your money box/card holder and/or as a receptacle for wishes from your wish card table. And after the wedding, you can even use it as your actual mailbox! ![]()
