Maxie is my little sister, a 7-year-old schnauzer/terrier mix. I love her more than anything and wouldn’t dream of not having her at the wedding.
So I bought her some pretty jewelry for the occasion:
And she gets to escort my mom down the aisle at the ceremony :).
(I wanted her to wear one of these, but my dad protested):
But Maxie does even get her own special bag of treats (fresh from Three Dog Bakery) at the reception.
Are you including your dogs in your wedding? Will they have an active role or just be present?

our dog is our baby, and I want to include him so much, but our venue won’t go for it. boo.
I’m not getting married anytime soon but ever since I got my puppy Penny back in May, I KNEW that she HAS to be a big part of my wedding no matter what! She is my baby and I love her more than anything. I hope to have an outdoor wedding so that she can be a part of it.
Ps. My dog gets that alien eyes look too!
Sooo cute! Mr. Plumeria got me tiny gray bunny a couple of years ago as a surprise gift. As he would definitely not hop down an aisle properly, I don’t think I ever considered having him involved. All the better, because the little guy scares easily and would probably run away. 
would love to include my dog, but driving her into the city, and getting her home is just too much. Plus the music and the people, it just wouldn’t work. But I do plan to take pictures with my dog in my backyard in my dress, perhaps even put a flower in her collar, if she’s good enough not to scratch it off and eat it.
Anyone include a cat? Or anything other than a dog? We are considering using horses, though we don’t own any. (My fav animal since I was three.)
I love the idea of incorporating our 4-legged family members in the wedding. I wish we had our furbabies when we got married so they could be in our engagement photos!
