About Mrs. Strawberry

Too little, Too late

October 25th, 2006 @ 3:21 pm by Mrs. Strawberry

I can’t make a decision to save my life. I agonize and agonize till I am forced to make a decision and then after I make a decision… I agonize some more. It’s a never ending cycle. You can only imagine what the wedding process has done to a girl like me. Yup, pure torture. First it was the colors. Then it was the favors. Then the venue. Take The Ruins for instance.

A true gem hidden in the Emerald city, that I found out about after I booked my current venue. The Ruins is a private dining club that can accommodate up to 200 guests. I literally was kicking myself for not finding this place sooner. It totally fits my style. While I do love my venue, it seems, the grass is always greener on the other side!

Mrs.RobsButton from theknot had her wedding at the Ruins! I fell in love with her wedding. I actually called the florsit at the Ruins to ask about Mrs.Robs centerpieces and the urns/vases they used. It’s a beautiful venue, but your wedding will be great. Lake Union Cafe looks amazing too!

I do the second guessing thing all of the time…with every single vendor! I think we should have to plan some other extravagant party first and THEN get to do our wedding. I have learned so much but sometimes the knowledge is a little too late.

Love this place! So, now what will you do? The Union Bay Cafe or this place for the wedding reception?

How is finding a venue for the rehearsal dinner coming along? At a dead stop?
