My Wedding Venue has joined the World Wide Web!! This makes me VERY happy. Not only is the information and pictures helpful for future brides, but they also now have EMAIL! That rocks! Their lack of email was my only negative thus far regarding my venue.
I’ll be happy to share their website with weddingbee, but I’d rather wait until after our wedding- if that’s ok :). In the meantime, here’s some venue history.
History -
“Established in 1941 it was known throughout the community as the premier social club. Ladies’ luncheons, wedding receptions, formal dinners, and card games filled the three floors. Families would spend summer afternoons around the pool or on the tennis courts, and enjoy the camaraderie the club provided.
After the club closed in the mid-nineties, the structure went through several transitions before being purchased in the winter of 2004.
Less than a year later, it opened its doors to much anticipation and excitement. The architect and designer chose to restore, rather than rebuild, the interior. Keeping close to the original intent of the design, the venue boasts the original parquet wood flooring, chandeliers, staircase banister, bar, and masonry work, all complemented by contemporary touches and fabrics. The result is a masterful blend of historical elegance and modern ambiance.”
