About Mrs. Plumeria

Autumn

October 26th, 2006 @ 4:24 pm by Mrs. Plumeria

The first few light sprinklings of rain have come to the California Bay Area, bringing out a thick muddy smell from the concrete and leaving tiny spots on my windshield. My laundry at the end of the week has more sweaters than thin blouses, and my down jacket has become increasingly more valuable as the days get colder. I love summer, but there are parts of autumn that I look forward to every year.

One thing I’m looking forward to immensely is a nice, tall Pumpkin Smash Jamba Juice, only available during the fall months. In my experience, people either hate the flavor (a delectably creamy liquid piece of pumpkin pie in a cup, basically) or love it, like me. To me, it’s like drinking sunshine. Sooo good.

To warrant this post wedding-related, I must share that Jamba Juice does do catering for events, including weddings! If you’d like to feature a Jamba GoGo crew and made-to-order smoothies at your wedding, give them a call at 1-866-JAMBA-GO. Sounds like the perfect, healthy addition to the menu for a fun outdoor wedding!

Hey, I met my FI at Jamba, we worked together a million years ago! It is “one sweet whirld” and you’re totally right, that smoothie is a love it or hate it thing. When we’d make it, we’d all hate it because of all the stuff that went in it. :) I find it impossible to even smell it anymore, there is sooo much sugar and calories in it! I can’t even eat pumpkin pie anymore because of making that smoothie. :( We thought about naming our tables different jamba drinks, because of how we met, but it doesn’t go with the autumn theme. :(

i absolutely love jambba juice. it’s quite unfortunate that they don’t have it on the east coast. Well, at least in the DC area.

Miss Plumeria, I completely understand, FI’s fave is the Peanut Butter Moo’d, until he used the cup to press the lock on his car, and it punctured a hole in the cup and moo’d waterfalled down the interior of the car door. He’s stayed away since. :) I liked to blend the lemonade with the fruit. You should also try the starburst- it’s not on the menu, but it’s a special drink, tastes like a pink starburst!!

I did not know about this pumpkin jamba! I think it’s time to make a trip down to Mercer Street.
