Save the Dates

October 27th, 2006 @ 11:39 am by Mrs. Raspberry

All of our guests should have received them by now, so here are our save the dates - handmade by me :).

I did the calligraphy for the addresses on the envelopes and we used the love bird stamps.

I apologize for the bad photography… This is the save the date on my computer screen.

The Wording:

Save-the-Date
For the Wedding of:

Sarah E E M
&
Stevenson H W IV
July *, 2007

Rooms are being held at:
The *** Inn
716.555.5555

The Details:

All of the paper is from the Paper-Source in Georgetown. Colors are Chartreuse and Strawberry.

I bought the tulip stamp at Michael’s Craft Store - there was a little bee on it too, and I stamped the ink around it, so only the tulip transferred.

Mr. Raspberry cut all of the bands that wrap around the invitation using an architectural paper cutter - I insisted that they were perfect :), and he is great at things like that…

After stamping the tulip with gold ink, I used gold embossing power to created the raised images.

Thank you!! So, due to the number of questions regarding embossing, I will do a post on it and post it on Monday morning (I am in a wedding this weekend and will be crazy busy).

The little bee just didn’t fit with the floral theme :(

and I didn’t even think about the raspberry coincidence!

Crapola! That looks FANTASTIC!!! It doesn’t look DIY at ALL. I think it’s the embossing.
