Too Many Bridesmaid Dresses

October 30th, 2006 @ 5:19 pm by Mrs. Raspberry

That is how I am feeling right now. I LOVE this pink dress. But unfortunately, I think it is a little too fitted to be the bridesmaid dress.

I like the style of this one:

Dessy

But I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one! It would be in “amber rose” and tea length and not be wrinkly! It is Watters & Watters.

The models are my sister Kate and my friend Katie. Which one is your favorite dress?

The black dress. The length will work well for a July wedding.

Dessy is definitely my first choice.

It’s classic and elegant. While Watters & Watters is also very lovely, it just doesn’t seem very bridesmaid-y. It just kinda says sweet summer day dress that you would wear out to a pinic lunch.

I like the black Dessy dress but I think the pink one is okay as a bridesmaid dress too. Just depends on what length YOU would want. =)

My sister got that Jim Hjelm dress as her MOH dress for my wedding. We were really disappointed. The quality was not great for $250. Plus, the sample looked really great on her but in sage green it was awful. She ended up buying a BCBG dress which was perfect.

I like the black Dessy one. The fuller, longer skirt is really nice and swishy, and I like the ribbon banding. It’s different. The Watters one is nice, but it looks like every other bridesmaid dress out there. And I don’t like the first one for a bridesmaid dress, it’s too fitted, as you said, and I think tea length looks better for bridesmaids unless it’s an ultra-formal evening wedding. But then I’m oddly conservative that way.
