About Mrs. Raspberry

I’ve been thinking about it all day. I was looking through some of the bios on The Knot and realized I have no idea what my “something blue” should be. Here are some ideas from other brides…

The light blue ring is my absolute favorite… I just don’t know think Mr. Raspberry will be up for that!

don’t forget about the garter. that’ll be my something blue, even though we’re not doing a garter toss.

I’m probably going to do the jewels under the shoe with our monogram and the date. I was also considering doing the dress patch with blue embroidery, but since swarovski is part of our theme I figured the jewels would go best.

My something blue was the crystals under my shoe.

I love that ring! Too bad a girl can only wear so much bling, or else I would totally buy a ring like that.

My fiance bought me a Wedgwood Blue cameo in England two years ago. I bought a crocheted garter, tea dyed it to match my gown, and replaced the cheap plastic bead decoration with my cameo. It looks really nice and is much more personal now.

Thats my friend’s ring. Her name is Audrey and she is mrsreemavenue on The Knot. Her ring sparked a major trend on The Knot. Im asking my hubby to buy me that same ring in a light purple for our 1 year anniversary. I wore a light purple ring shaped like a flower made out of tanzantie on my wedding day to immitate hers. My something blue was my undies!

My something blue was my mom’s garter (which was also my borrowed), my blue underwear and the blue sapphire ring dh gave me for christmas the year before.

I wanted to be sure I had the blue covered! =)

I painted my toenails blue — Essie Barbados Blue, to be exact. Essie St. Barths Blue was another option. :)

My something blue was also my something borrowed- the gold, mother of pearl & sapphire heart locket that my grandfather gave my grandmother for their wedding. I pinned it to my bouquet.

I am doing the rhinestone initials on my shoes, and I think those undies are freakin’ adorable! I’m having a harder time with old/borrowed. :O)

My company sells that ring. :) I get to ‘play’ with the jewelry all the time.

I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet. I want to use my mom’s crocheted garter, which she made herslef. She used a blue ribbon weaved through it, but I’m leaning more towards green and yellow. My favorite idea right now is blue toenails, although I’m sure my grandmother would be horrified if she knew :-D
