Weddingbee
One of the many things Mr. Lily and I will be doing when we next visit Arizona (just a few weeks away!) is cake tasting. I can’t tell you how excited I am to stuff my face with every type of cake, filling, and frosting under the sun. One of the bakers asked us to bring pictures of the types of cakes we like. This is one area I hadn’t given too much thought to just yet (I was busy having fantasies of rich buttercream with apricot filling instead). Now, I am on a hunt for cake styles that Mr. Lily and I think will fit our wedding. Here are a few cake designs that I am digging so far. These are all from Wendy Kromer Specialty Confections:

wendy’s cakes are so stylish and chic. my favorite one is on p254 of the new issue of MS weddings. i call it piped heaven.
