I am oh so excited at the thought of planning my reception menu. I dream about the chocolate fountain, the mashed potato martini bar, the carving station, and the hand rolled sushi. And now, I have one more thing to get giddy about. Mini food. Miniature versions of the real thing. I’m hoping I can convince my venue to serve mini cheeseburgers and miniature grilled cheese sandwiches. Classy, no?

Love it! I have never seen it before, especially at a wedding. I think it’s a great idea.
i’ll never ever get sick of burgers… and when they’re mini i bet they taste even better. but your mashed potato bar… that i would die over.
i’ve also seen mini ice cream cones and mini hot dogs done! so cute!
oh so now. although one trendy chef friend i know informed me that it’s on its way out. “it’s so 2004,” or something like that.
