Aria Bridesmaids

November 2nd, 2006 @ 12:15 pm by Mrs. Hibiscus

My bridesmaids and I headed out to Aria Bridesmaids in Pasadena this past weekend. Mrs. Bee posted about them earlier this year. I just wanted to say that I had a fabulous experience with them. You have to make an appointment and when you go, you and your girls get the whole place to yourselves. The silk shaunting material is absolutely gorgeous and all my bridesmaids LOVED the dresses. They all said that they would definitely be able to wear them again which was really important to me. The colors were fabulous - so rich and vibrant. It made me so happy and excited to be in their showroom. I want one for myself now!!!

Here are all the pretty dresses lined up.

The dress in the center is the color we’re going with. Aqua with a mist sash and double hem.

Here’s three of my bridesmaids trying on dresses. These are just random samples in their sizes. Don’t they look pretty?

If you’re within driving distance from Pasadena, Boston or Washington D.C. you should DEFINITELY check them out. If you’re too far to drop by you can do their try-on program. The dresses can be mailed to you for $15 each (that doesn’t include the cost of you shipping back the dresses by a trackable method). You can also get up to 7 different swatches for free to see the colors in person. You won’t be disappointed! I’ll follow up after we’ve ordered and received the dresses. But so far…I’m happy as pie!

Hahaha Ignore the nudish color on my bridesmaid on the right (she hates that picture). That was the only color that had her size to try on. :)

I am totally freaking out… I LOVE these dresses… I really like style 128 - maybe without the sash..

I just called and made an appointment for next Sunday!

Thanks so much for the info!

Miss Raspberry! We’re going with 128 with the top band the same color as the dress. The bottom hem will still have the contrasting hem which will be the same color as the sash. :) Good choice!

I went and tried on dresses with my MOH…. and we loved them :) And despite the crazy parking lot … the Pasadea office is very handy!

I got my bridesmaid dresses there. They should be sent to me any day now!

One thing I liked about Aria is you could have people get different styles in the same color which is handy if your ladies are of different proportions plus if they get to pick the style there is a higher likelihood they will be able to wear it again. :)

My two bridesmaids just wore Aria dresses (style 122 in chocolate brown) in my wedding on October 21st and they received rave reviews from both the girls and the guests. The fit was great and the fabric was beautiful (silk shantung) and they can definitely be worn again to another function. None of us live anywhere near an Aria dress store and we went through the whole process using the internet and phone ordering, etc and it was still a great experience.

Jill — Any chance you would be comfortable sharing a picture of your bridesmaids in their Aria dresses? I am thinking of ordering the same one and my bride friend has chosen chocolate brown silk shantung. I couldn’t find any pics on the Aria website of the dress, so it would be great to see the real thing. Hope it isn’t too much to ask.
Thanks –Sara

Oops - I meant that I hadn’t found any pics of style 122 in the brown.
