It was actually REALLY good. haha.

He made me pan-seared scallops in this yummy sauce he made with maple syrup, soy sauce, and wasabi (lol - he looked this up in one of his mom’s home magazines) with caperberries, arugula, and mushroom risotto. I ate the WHOLE thing. Of course I told him that he was going to cook for us from now on.

Haha I told him to sit by his “masterpiece.”
Like my metal blue orchid napkin rings? I FINALLY got a chance to use them. I also made him use my silky damask napkins from my linen stock which he refused to wipe his mouth with because “they were too nice.”

He bought and “arranged” some gerbera daisies in a vase, which I later asked him about - turns out, it was an old vinegar jar from his mom’s LOL. But isn’t it cute how he tied a ribbon to it? Haha he learns quickly!

He got me a Hello Kitty cake because he knows how much I LOVE anything Hello Kitty.

And here I am, disheveled and tired after a day of work - about to blow out my sparkler candles on a piece of cake.
So I don’t have food poisoning after all. I have a wonderful fiance who can ACTUALLY cook!
We already went to a nice restaurant last weekend to celebrate, so he thought it would be nice to make me a home-cooked meal. Everybody now: AWWWWWW
The end!
that is too cute~
i wish my SO could cook…=P
