About Mrs. Peach

Ahahaha. Sorry. shy.gif I love corniness… silly.gif

Miss Hibiscus’ first entry (welcome btw!!!) about how she shared with everyone that she became a Weddingbee has made me think… Why? Because I’ve told only 3 people that I am a blogger here: Mr. Peach and my two younger sisters. Not even the rest of my bridal party knows. Is that weird?

I’ve been thinking about letting them know… so I probably will soon. But as for everyone else, I probably won’t. It killed me at first because I too was soooo freak-frackin happy about becoming a Weddingbee; I was sooo proud of it and wanted to tell everyone, especially because I’m naturally a “sharer.” But alas, I don’t want people who will be coming to my wedding, reading/seeing things about the wedding in advance. I want them to be surprised! (Hmm, but maybe because I love suprises! haha)

So my question is this.

If you were (or are) a Weddingbee blogger, who would you tell?

*EDIT*: Everyone (not just actual weddingbee bloggers) feel free to elaborate on your choice!! I’d love to hear your reasons! ^_^

I told my fiance & my weddingbee-buddy (the person who introduced me to wb & who shhhhh you might all be meeting soon! ;-) ) instantly all psycho excited. Since then I have only told my MOH & the honorary bridesmaid who made me the shirt (b/c I wanted her to see that I posted it!) And I referenced it to my mom, but didn’t give her a link. Mainly, I’m just trying not to put tooooo much info on the site that might ruin surprises, so I won’t post my dress, invitations, STDs etc, until after all my guests have seen them in real life first. But I have no problem with them knowing I’m debating between types of chairs or might have a bamboo aisle runner or that type of thing, because, well, I babble about my wedding to people anyway! :-)

i link to weddingbee from my regular blog so pretty much anyone who reads that knows i blog here. a lot of my friends (male and female both!) now read the site.

i also tell any bride-to-be that i meet because i find the other bees’ posts here to be such an amazing resource, that i wouldn’t begrudge anyone that!

like Miss Bluebell, i won’t post my dress and only posted stationery *after* it hit the streets. there’s a lot i haven’t posted due to time constraints more than to secrecy. i need to get on the ball. (ha! with one week to go, good luck to me on that front!)

Okay, now I can vote. I told the Fiance, Miss Bluebell, and my family. No harm can come from that since my family is in on all the planning, so they really have nothing to be surprised about. :) My mom, bless her heart, said, “You’re on what? That’s great! We’ll have to get one!” I have NO idea what she was talking about.

Heehee I’m both a sharer and a secretive person wrapped into a big ball. I pretty much told people, “I’m a blogger for weddingbee!!!” And they pretty much responded, “Um….is that a good thing or bad thing?” And I reply with, “It’s an awesome thing!” And they stare at me confused thinking I’m having Bees at my wedding. hahaha So I really really only told my fiance and one good friend. Otherwise, when I tell people it’s like I’m speaking another language. :)

If I were to become a WeddingBee blogger, I wouldn’t tell anyone, just so I would have the opportunity to keep everything a surprise until the big day (June, 2007). Of course, after the wedding, I would be happy to tell people so they can see how I got things the way they were and so they could keep up with me in my newly married life as a Mrs. WeddingBee blogger. :)

I have told my FI and my closest friends and have also mentioned it to friends of friends who are getting married. I would agree weddingbee is an amazong resource for brides and I am so thankful to be a part of the blogging forum community. I would be so lost without all the bees help and personal creative touches to the site. I would tell my family about weddingbee but I don’t think they would really understand since most of my aunts and uncles don’t even use the internet.
