In Miss Kiwi’s inaugural post, both she and commenter JoyJoy mentioned how they had briefly dated their now-fiances years ago, broken up, and then later realized they actually DID have what it takes to make it work long term!
This is true for Mr. Bluebell and I too, which got me thinking…how common is it really? In both my & Miss Kiwi’s cases, we (the girls) were the ones to call things off in our earlier relationships, mainly because we were freaked out that Mr. Bluebell and Mr. Kiwi (respectively) liked us so much. Then, after a few years, we each looked back on that old boyfriend so fondly that we decided to try talking to them again, and almost instantly realized how right we had been for each other all along and never looked back.
Did you know your fiance/husband/”important person” prior to dating this time around? Did you date previously? Were you just friends? Did you break up, get back together, break up, get back together a million times?
How about a poll so we can see where we all stand!
