Vow To Be Fit Day 3

November 3rd, 2006 @ 11:28 am by Mrs. Bee

I started the Vow To Be Fit Program again this week, and today is Day 3. You may recall that I went off of it after one day last time because I was sick. But I was determined to finish the program because I wanted to drop some weight in time for Miss Butterfly’s wedding, and I needed that motivational push to get my lazy ass on a healthy track.

I had a huge meal the night before starting Day 1 - I had 4th and 5th servings 8O. But still it wasn’t hard for me to get through the first two cleansing days where I just drank a lot of water, the Cleanse for life juice, 7 “snacks,” and 10 almonds. I even went out to dinner with Mr. Bee and his parents last night - Thai food one of my favorites! - and had 5 scrumptious dishes in front of me. I wasn’t tempted to even have a taste. Then later that night I made Mr. Bee a peanut butter and jelly sandwich as a snack - and I still resisted temptation. See late night snacking is one of my biggest downfalls when it comes to dieting.

After the two days, I feel like I actually have a lot more energy! Which is what is supposed to happen after cleansing days. I eat true crap - my diet for the last month has consisted of ramen, cup o noodles, progresso soup, spaghetti-o’s - pretty much anything instant. I guess it’s no surprise I have more energy after eliminating all that crap from my system.

For the next 5 days, I’ll be eating a shake for breakfast and dinner, and a sensible 400-600 calorie, high protein/vegetable lunch. I wish I could tell you my weight loss to date but my scale broke (hopefully not from me stepping on it?), and I still have to get a new one.

I’m feeling great so far. But I do have two obstacles this weekend - a birthday party tonight and a bridal shower this Sunday. Must resist temptation! Will keep you guys updated on my progress. :)

I’m on Day 4 and I must say I was STARVING yesterday! I was a little cranky but I pulled through. Today doesn’t seem as bad. But I can’t wait to eat tomorrow! LOL! I’m sure you’ll do well! I’ll put down my stuff too when I get a chance!

Mrs. Bee & Maria. That’s great work. I don’t know if I can do it also but after I see your success stories, I should be more motivated to give it a go! Keep it up!

I finished my program about 1 week ago (got it after I read Mrs. Bee was trying it), and lost a total of 8lbs and 14 inches overall, and still keeping it off! I now fit into my skinny pants again (size 3/4)! Yippie!! Thanks Mrs. Bee for giving me a kick start. Hang in there! You can do it!!!!!!
