Today is Day 6 for me on the Vow To Be Fit program and so far, I honestly love it. It really hasn’t been difficult but I don’t know if my experience is unique. What’s different about this program is that I don’t seem to be having any cravings - people can eat whatever they want in front of me, and I haven’t been tempted to cheat. Amazing! Now Mr. Bee wants to try it too.
Days 1-2 were cleanse days. Days 3-7 are shake for breakfast/dinner and sensible lunch days. This is what I ate for Days 3-5:
Days 3-4: Breakfast: Berry shake, Lunch: turkey burger (with more veggies on the side), Dinner: Berry shake.
Day 5: Breakfast: Berry shake, Bridal Shower Lunch: couple berries, picked out some turkey, salmon, cucumbers from 3 tea sandwiches, Dinner: Salad (dressing on the side) and 1 glass of red wine
- ok I admit I cheated a little because it was our meetaversary.
Planned menu for Day 6: Breakfast: Berry shake, Lunch: salad with tofu, Dinner: Berry shake.
If you get hungry, you can eat snacks like apples, boiled eggs, almonds, etc., but I haven’t had the urge to eat any yet. I’ve actually been happy eating veggies and I am the consummate carnivore!

I finished my program about 1 week ago (got it after I read Mrs. Bee was trying it), and lost a total of 8lbs and 14 inches overall, and still keeping it off! I now fit into my skinny pants again (size 3/4)! Yippie!! Thanks Mrs. Bee for giving me a kick start. Hang in there! You can do it!!!!!!
I’m very optimistic because I feel pretty great - lots of energy and no cravings. In fact I’m actually ordering another 9 day program because I want to do it again sometime in the near future.
