Amazon Shoe Sale

November 7th, 2006 @ 1:31 pm by Mrs. Bee

I have an Amazon Prime membership, which means free 2 day shipping on almost everything they carry. The 1-click ordering feature is so convenient that I buy anything and everything I can from Amazon; it’s totally worth it and the membership pays for itself many times over.

Last night I logged onto Amazon and saw these adorable red Unlisted Charming Pumps featured on the home page. I starting envisioning myself wearing them with a black dress to Miss Snail’s wedding - the perfect flash of color for a December wedding. But I liked the versatility of the black ones and was torn as to which one to buy…

I went over to Zappos to search for the same shoe because I wanted to check out reviews on comfort and whether it fit true to size. Woohoo it got great reviews - but they were $44.95 at Amazon and $50.95 at Zappos.

Then I found out Amazon has a sale going on where you get $20 off an $80 purchase of shoes or apparel sold directly from Amazon. So I ordered the shoes in red and black and after the $20 discount, they came to $69.90 total - what a deal! On top of that, you get a free 1 year subscription (or an extension if you’re already subscribed) to Lucky magazine with any $25 purchase of shoes or clothing through December 31st!

They have a big selection of bridal shoes including Colorrifics, Touch Ups, Dyeables and Nina brands so you may want to check it out. I think you can get the discount with each separate order of $80. ;)

Go to wet seal! It’s sort of a teenage-y store but their shoes aren’t all that bad.

I saw a pair of shoes that actually looked very much like those- for 20 bucks!

So cute but I must refrain myself from buying more shoes. My bf and I just bought a house and we need all the money to renovate. Boo!
