Egg & Muffin Toaster

November 7th, 2006 @ 6:49 pm by Mrs. Bee

I don’t know about you, but I love me some McDonald’s. It’s not because they have the best tasting food in the world, but for some reason I can eat McDonalds over and over again without getting sick of it. My favorite foods are the filet o’ fish, chicken mcnuggets, and the vanilla softserve. I also love their breakfast sandwiches, but only get to eat them once in awhile like when I’m on a road trip.

For you fellow breakfast sandwich fans, you can now make your own with the Egg and Muffin Toaster instead of trying to get to McDonalds before they stop serving breakfast.

Egg and Muffin Toaster : wedding registry Eggmuffin Toaster eggmuffin_toaster.jpg

Product description from bbb:

In one simple appliance you have a toaster, egg poacher and meat warmer, which can be used alone or all together. The wide-slot toaster can even toast bagels and croissants and has variable toasting functions.

To make your breakfast sandwich, simply add water to the heating tray, crack egg into poaching tray, place desired breakfast meat on warming tray, add lid to keep heat inside and place your choice of bread in the toaster.

I could eat this everyday - that is if I weren’t on a diet! It’s a nifty item you might want to add to your registry if you love those egg, sausage, bacon mcmuffins/bagels/croissanwiches as much as I do.

Available at Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, Macy’s, Amazon and more for $39.99.

yum! I too love a good egg mcmuffin on a road trip. I wanted to register for this, but FI thought we wouldn’t use it all that often. He’s probably right. Oh, well, regular toaster and egg poacher it is…

I OWN THIS! :) I bought it earlier this summer to help with a hearty breakfast for my working mornings. I buy the “good for you” english muffins, use egg whites & chicken breakfast sausage!
It works amazingly well - my only complaint is that it’s yet another kitchen gizmo that has to be stored away.

now if if could make greasy biscuits for a bacon, egg and cheese bicuit, I’d be in heaven…and probably 10 pounds heavier within a month.

Although I LOVE this thing, I feel like it would go the way of my quesadilla maker, which is unused (and why should it be with a good old pan to use?!?!). I’ll probably register for it anyway. ;-)

I love the egg and muffin toaster, I got one a few months ago with credit card points! And it’s great, because even when I’m too lazy to do the whole sandwich thing, I still toast things and feel good that I’m using the toaster part!

OMG- Mrs Bee! I was literally just telling Mr. Kiwi about this! We gave our toaster oven to my dad (who lives alone and whose oven broke), so my dad is getting us a slotted toaster for my birthday gift. I saw this when I was perusing the 7 pages of toasters! There is also one with a built in bread bin, and another one that is a slotted toaster with a toaster oven. Weird.

We own this and it’s fantastic! I make an egg sandwich with one egg and a Weight Watchers english muffin and it has the same number of points as a bowl of healthy cereal.

i dunno how you can talk of such great foods when you are on such a strict diet.. i would’ve posted this and immediately would’ve gone to mcdonald’s to get me a piggy meal.

Fi’s been wanting one for awhile, but I thought it looked like it might be a more mechanized spork- no longer useful as either. BUT, thanks to you lovely commentors, I just figured out his xmas present.
