About Mrs. Raspberry

Vera Wang ¢¢â€š¬…”On Weddings¢¢â€š¬? is quite possibly the most gorgeous book for wedding inspiration. Her designs are classy and oh so exquisite!

The Emily Post book has an explanation for every possible etiquette situation and The Knot’s book has some great ideas for innovating on tradition.

So, this brings us to my Christmas wish list for wedding books. :)Here they are (all available at amazon.com).

I have Emily Post’s Wedding Etiquette which was helpful but otherwise I found most books to be a waste of money. There is so much available on the internet that the wedding books out there seem really limited and too specific to be helpful. I’ve passed so many books onto friends and family because after you look through them once they just sit on your shelf.

Another vote for Simply Stunning Weddings! I also love Bridal Bargains. Even if you’re not on a tight budget, it gives some good insight into the industry. Currently I’ve been paging through The Knot Guide to Wedding Vows and Traditions (or something like that). It’s helpful, but not amazing.

I like all of the Preston Bailey books - weddings and design for entertaining - i’ve found his to have the most wow factor and make the best coffee table books - I also like the Instyle Weddings book, and the Vera Wang, which you already have :)
I hate to be the disagree-er but I was disappointed in the Simply Stunning Weddings - I suppose I heard too much about the hype and when I got it, I was let down :-p

I am a Karen Bussen fan as well. Great choices, though!
