Now You See Me…

November 7th, 2006 @ 3:54 pm by Mrs. Kiwi

Even though I have fallen for one dress in particular, I haven’t tried more on or anything. So, I can’t really buy a veil yet, right? Since childhood (years of Halloweens playing Bride), the one thing that spelled “Bride” to me was the veil. These are the ones I’m considering using - all found at theknot.

This is the Lori London blusher, I like how it doesn’t just lay flat on your face.

Another Lori London, this one has just the birdcage face mesh, which is nice, but the flowers detract from the whole thing to me. I think I want a regular veil. A bride on Pricescope had this kind of veil (not this exact one) and knocked it out of the park - I wish I were that creative!

Another Lori London called a fountain veil. I love this one since it’s long enough to be classy, but not too short to be “sassy,” which is not me.

This is called the waterfall veil and it makes me drool, but I think it may be too long for my short stature.

In the final veil category, this is the cathedral, I believe this is one of the longer ones (not counting Princess Di or Star Jones). This one is too long for me, and since I’m clumsy, I know I’ll rip a hole in it at some point. It really is stunning, and I envy any bride who can pull it off!

Miss Bluebell, I love those two as well! I wish the fountain had a blusher on it, though. :(

Miss Plum. I’ve always wanted one of the long veils. It just seemed sooo ethereal. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fit with the wedding I’ve planned. Also, if I get the Jasmine dress I blogged about, I won’t need a long veil- the train speaks for itself!

ooo those first three veils are purty. i had a fingertip length veil, but now when i see pics of brides with super long veils now, i kinda wish i had gone with something longer… with a blusher even. it does really make you feel like a bride. :)
