Miss Apple blogged about Whiteflash so I thought it may be nice timing to blog about our rings. Like Mr. Apple, Mr. BOP went to Whiteflash for his special purchase. He ended up hand picking an A Cut Above - Hearts & Arrows diamond. It sounds complicated, but really it’s just a branded diamond, like a Hearts on Fire diamond or a Royal Asscher.

When it came time to insure the ring, the insurance agent asked me what Hearts & Arrows meant. After I briefly explained it to her, she remarked “But you can’t see the hearts and arrows, right?” Ah, but you can.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of the hearts of my diamond. The hearts are on the underside of it and it’s already set. But, here are the little arrows. The arrows don’t look dark when viewing them with the naked eye. They look like a silvery mirror.

def a cut above hearts and arrows! beautiful! I tried to take some pictures of my ring last night when I was going to post my blog but the dang picture looks awful! It might be the camera or maybe I just don’t know how to put it on the correct setting, what camera are you using?
