2nd Attempt At Being Crafty

November 8th, 2006 @ 5:31 pm by Mrs. Strawberry

They look so much better. I spent a lot of time on them. Painting. Cutting. Measuring. Okay… that’s a blatant lie. I had my maid of honor do them. I have about 25 tables, so I have a lot more to do and I’d like them all to be different. Any ideas?

Pink Kiss marks on brown? No idea HOW you would do that but it would be so cute! Little pink hs on the brown background and vice-versa?

i like the kiss mark idea. i’m sure you can find a rubber stamp and just use paint instead of ink.

you can try swirls. swirls are always fun.

Have you tried looking at the Making Memories Cosmopolitan collection? One of the Cosmopolitan sets are pink and brown and have like, 12 different themes.

BTW, how did you do all this? They look amazing!

wow i really like what you’ve done with them! :)

one idea could be picking two shapes such as dots & lines (not that a line is a shape… -_-) and just have different ways of using the dots and lines instead of having 25 entirely different patterns because it may get a little crazy looking with swirls on one table and houndstooth on another.

i hope i helped/made sense! :) good luck & keep up the good work!!

Invert colors but do the same designs?
Or look at invitations and mimic the designs on those?

hm

these look great!

how about paisley! bows! (as in wrap in paper, and tie ribbons around the H) florals! leaves! skeleton leaves! pink with brown monkeys! you could also add texture, like brown with pink tissue blossoms.

per miss kiwi: brown paper, pink kiss stickers.

Oh I LOVE paisley. Reverse the order of all the ones you already have…

Go to a scrapbook store and see what kinds of papers are out there…not just Paper-Source. Lots of scrapbooking stores have more variety and are even arranged in themes or color combos, for you. :O)
