This past Sunday we celebrated Miss Snail’s bridal shower at Alice’s Tea Cup newly opened upper east side location (they also have a location on the UWS).

It’s a popular bridal shower venue, but also a very cute place for a ladies or mother/daughter brunch.

For $25pp, they served 6 different kinds of tea (with unlimited refills),

And 3 tiered trays of food for every 2 people - which included scones, tea sandwiches and desserts. A great deal for how much food they gave us!

Miss Snail received lots of gifts, but the most memorable was this monogrammed yoga pant with her future name from her sister.

Or perhaps it was this awesome scrapbook her bridemaids made for her! The first page:

The last page: “The Hos.” The groom is tall and the bride is short to symbolize Mr. and Miss Snail’s real heights.

We played one game where everyone had 10 minutes to make a veil and Miss Snail picked a winner. Phew that 10 minutes flew by!

Since the NY Marathon was going on that day, the ice skating rink was practically deserted - yay for us!

Sadly the next day I was sore as hell - but of course it was worth it because I love ice skating and Miss Snail!
