Mr. Strawberry and I had originally planned on doing a joint bachelor/bachelorette party in Vegas. Then we decided to go separately because of date conflicts. Now I’m torn between going to Vegas and the happiest place on earth, Disneyland! Each place has so many wonderful things about it that make it unique and fun.

Vegas has legalized gambling, male strippers, cool hotels, and of course, an open container law!

While Disneyland is an awesome amusement park and is the happiest place on earth. I could even wear Mini Mouse Ears with a veil!

You’re young and fabulous, save Disneyland for when you have kids. It will be judt as awesome when you have babies, but Vegas won’t be as fun with 5 year olds.

Not even close. Vegas all the way. This is a bachelorette party, not a 10-year-old’s birthday party!

having been to both in the past year, i’d point you towards vegas- disneyworld was way cooler as a kid. going to disney world this year was still fun, but it’ll never be as much fun as you remembered it.

I LOVE Disneyland. So much that we got engaged there! BUT, gotta love the Thunder Down Under in Vegas!! :) I’D do Disneyland, but then again, I’m mentally 7. Vegas seems a better all around choice. And at almost 90 bucks for Disney, possibly cheaper!

I vote for Disneyland. It’s so offbeat, and you can still have a good (grown-up) time when you want to! Vegas, well, it’s fun–but it’s been done. Plus, in regards to skichik’s comment above: you can always “scout the place out” in preparation for going back in several years w/ kiddies in tow :-P

Miss lemon..If I do go to Vegas–we’re going VIP all the way! Is there a service to go through for that?

I actually did a joint bachelorette with another girlfriend of mine who’s getting married around the same time at Disneyland and it was a blast! But you have to be a Disney fanatic to appreciate it. I’m a sucker for all things Disney so it was perfect for me!!

If you end up going to Vegas… let me know :) I’ve always had wonderful trips due to my VIP hosts - and you can have a fun & classy trip! (I’ve seen one too many bad bachelorette parties on my weekends in sin city)

p.s. I REALLY wanted to go to DisneyWorld for our weekend (since I’m at DL all the time)…. but we decided we wouldn’t have enough time to enjoy it

Go with Disneyland. I have known MANY…and i mean MANY people who have had co-ed bachelor and bachelorette parties in Vegas and all have regretted it. Somehow the bride and groom always ended up in a fight. I guess it is always better to not know what really happened. Even if it was innocent fun.

Vegas Baby Vegas! (from the Vince Vaughn movie Swingers if you didn’t know)

This is supposed to be your last time being wild and crazy a before you are married and boring (though hopefully that isn’t actually the case)

I admit some ladies are totally not into the get drunk and party thing. I know one of my close friends was freaked out that her bachelorette party would be like that because it wasn’t her personality. But if you are the kind of person who likes to get a little wild I think you will regret going to Disney because especially if your fiance’s bachelor party is going to be wild and crazy.

Well, I’m partial because I am heading there, too, but I vote Vegas. I feel like Disneyland is SUCH a cluster f— that you either have to go during the off-season, or get there early in the AM (not ideal with a handover) if you want to enjoy the actual park.

When I went with my family to Disneyland, we actually stayed in Huntington Beach and went to LA one day, Newport Beach another, and Disneyland for two days. This might be a good plan (assuming you rent cars)–you combine grown-up facilities and travel with childhood charm. ;O)

Definately Vegas!!! My FBIL and FSIL had their’s in Vegas…. such a blast! Especially if you get a big suite for everyone.

I wanted Disney .. my BM’s were TOTALLY against it. Gotta remember… Mickey mouse doesn’t allow alcohol! No alcohol at at B-party? Come on!

I’d do Disneyland for sure…I’m not one for partying really…just not the type. Plus, Andrew & I have a no stripper policy. :)

sorry, being a socal girl, i’m over the disneyland thing. it’s fun and cute for about half a day. although there is downtown disney and some more “adult” areas around the area. it just requires driving, and if you’re not familiar with the area and/or drunk, that’s not a good combo.

vegas! woo!
i am not a “drink and party and wake up under a tree” kind of girl, but i know that vegas — and especially your bachelorette party — will be whatever you make it. fun with friends!
