Kristy Cummings, our photographer, is amazing. Hiring her was our one big (for us) splurge, and I have a good feeling I won’t regret it. On Sunday she met with us at our venue (she hasn’t shot a wedding there before) to look the place over and determine if we’d need to go to a second location at some point in the day, for further pictures. She fell in love with the place and says we definitely won’t have to go elsewhere to get all the shots we want :).

I was recently browsing her website, and thought I’d share a few of her pictures with you all. I love her photojournalistic style!

Oops…looks like I got a bit carried away :D.

Her packages start at about $2000, which I think is a great deal :).

I just get all giddy thinking about how amazing our wedding photos will look!

that’s the going rate these days, i think. ours is $2600 and we opted for the photojournalist approach too. http://www.katielangley.com

Samantha–yeah, I’m aware that it’s the going rate. In fact, I think it’s a bit on the lower end of the price scope. But it’s still a lot for us

We’re spending $600, not including printing. Mostly photojouralistic photos, and I’ve found a lot worse costing a lot more than our photog.

Miss Blueberry-yeah, tell me about it! My folks seriously freaked when I told them the “going rate”. I got them over the hump and they are footing the bill for this one!!
