Think Pink!

Mr. Strawberry and I recently moved from our nice new townhouse into a considerably older and not so nice apartment, all in an effort to save money to buy a house. It’s been a little bit of an adjustment. We went from having stainless steel appliances and a large counter island in the kitchen to very old and dated appliances that you can barely navigate around. All that, Mr. Strawberry can live with. The bathroom is another story. It’s pink. My dad tried to convince him that it was coral… but no, it’s pink. Pepto pink. The bathtub. The sink. The toilet. The tile. All of it. Pink.

It probably doesn’t help that our bedding is also pink. I feel so sorry for him. I’ve promised him we’ll register for something much more masculine!

P.S. I had a hilarious picture of him wrapped up in bed, covered in pink pillows and blankets that I wanted to post. He said over his dead body.

I LOVE that pink toilet and sink pictured. Love it. I adore old fixtures, including colored ones. Not Seventies avocado ones, but older ones from the Fifties and earlier–love ‘em. You’re actually lucky to have them, think of it that way.

i LOVE pink!! i want a totally pink kitchen, complete with a pink kitchen aide mixer.

My grandmother used pink toilet paper. She would have LOVED your bathroom!!! Just think, it’s better than BROWN!!! LOL

I think pink is better than brown! My bf and I just bought a house and everything in the bathroom is brown. Tiles, tub, sink, toilet, etc…it’s so old looking. They even tiled the bathroom ceiling. Who does that?!

OMG! We have a pink bathroom too! Well, pink with grey accents (tres tacky). I don’t like it either, but luckily we’re just renting.

I would definitely get rid ‘o the pink if I were a home owner. ASAP.
