It’s What On The Inside That Counts

November 17th, 2006 @ 4:10 pm by Mrs. Strawberry

I want my cake to be beautiful, as any bride does. I, however, want mine to not only be aesthetically pleasing on the outside, but on the inside as well. A neapolitan cake captures my pink and brown theme wonderfully and will be a surprise detail for guests upon cutting the cake.

I’m thinking that your baker could just as easily coordinate your cake in your wedding colors as well. Orange and pink cake? Brown and blue? Might be fun! :)

I don’t know about dyeing cake batter to match a wedding, but all those pictures really make me want to eat a slice of cake right now.

Those look yummy! I agree that a blue cake might not excite the elder pallate. Kids would love it though!
