I know I want a drop veil for sure. I’m not so sure about the length or edging I want yet, but no lace, crystals, pearls, or sequins for me. I’m thinking maybe fingertip length for the back tier and elbow length for the blusher. I like sheerness and lack of fluffiness in veils, of course. Ever the minimalist.
I’m not willing to shell out for tulle, but I’m also not crafty at all when it comes to the sewing department. I’ll probably check out the fashion district downtown, then veilshop.com and occanseydesigns.com. My coworker didn’t have any luck finding drop veils downtown though, and I already have my free swatches from Veilshop waiting to meet my dress. The mannequins on that site scare me :(. Occansey can even affix a clear comb to your drop veil to make it more secure.

from unkown sources:

I’ve only seen cut edge for drop veils so far…
Cut Edge - Minimal and undistracting, but a bit unfinished-looking.

Fine-Embroidered or Pencil Edge - Basic, but gives some definition to the edge of the veil.

Minimal (1/8″-ish) Satin Edge - The most definition.

What edge condition do you think would look best with my dress?
