Engagement Photos… Check!

Mr. Plumeria and I had our engagement session a couple of weeks ago at the Sutro Baths in San Francisco, and recently got back the results from the wonderful GB Photographers (see my other post for info for them). Garrett and Matt made the whole experience pleasant with their friendly banter as they shot a few hours’ worth of photos, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with results. To be honest, I used to think engagement pictures were somewhat of an unnecessary commodity, but I am so glad now that we had them taken — and, after seeing them, I am incredibly excited for Garrett and Matt to shoot our wedding! Okay, I’ll shut up now and let the photos speak for themselves:

I love every one of your pictures. Only thing i would complain (if it were me) would be the strand of hair across your forehead. I guess it’s cause i’m anal. I like every strand of hair to be perfect and be exactly where they’re suppose to be! 
I like the bw one with your faces together, the best. AWESOME.

those pictures are great. you two are such a cute couple. i’m gonna have to check out the sutro baths. i keep hearing about them but never quite make it…i really need to play the tourist in my own backyard
the black and white photo with just the water as the background, and walking through the greens were beautiful in a surreal way, like scenes out of a movie….nice shots
numbers 4 and 10 are my favorites! they just create a sense that you aren’t really being followed around by a photographer, but being ‘caught in the act of love’ by him. I’m not one for a staged pose, and these completely capture spontaneous, yet lovely moments! congratulations on wonderful pictures!
