Colored Wedding Shoes

November 23rd, 2006 @ 6:10 pm by Mrs. Raspberry

I am IN LOVE with these shoes!!!

Colored Wedding Shoes : wedding shoes Red Shoes red-shoes.jpg

After finding those great white Cynthia Rowley shoes at Hitched, I started looking to see what other brides are wearing and I had no idea that so many brides wore wild shoes.

Now, I just need to work on the idea with my mom. :)

i’m planning on wearing blue or light green shoes! i just think that would be such a fun way to add a bit more color to the dress, plus i can always wear them again and again AND i don’t have to stress about perfectly matching my dress. brilliant!

that and none of my other friends have done that…hehehe. perfect.

I talked to my mom about wearing green shoes (our wedding colors are green and brown) and she FREAKED. I hope she will be okay with the gold shoes I settled on instead. ;)

I plan on having a dress with either red or blue embroidery/accents/beading/etc, so I’ll be wearing shoes that match that…either red or blue. :)

I wore those red shoes for my rehearsal dinner!! It was a huge hit with some people. From her comments, I kinda thought my MIL might’ve thought it was a bit too sexy, but I didn’t care. I bought espresso one for my MOH/sister to wear for the wedding. I contemplated getting blue or some other colored shoes to wear but ended up getting ivory ones to match the dress. I think it’s so fun to do things a bit different.

Love the color of those. I’m definitely planning on not wearing white shoes, I think a burst of color is a great touch.

I’m wearing silver sandals. For most brides, no on will see your shoes. Why not make it fun? Kinda like the pink crinoline I’m wearing… :P

The above shoes are hot and definitely need to be seen!

I wore purple velvet shoes under my dress, and caught heck from my mom about it. Oh well, I *love* the idea of colored shoes, and red is fantastic!
