Mr. Bee and I were chatting last night, and he said that he was like a dog and I was like a cat in our relationship. Why? He said that he’s constantly loving and affectionate like a dog whereas I’m less predictable, like a cat.

Between you and your significant other, who’s more affectionate?

i think we’re about the same. we’re both cuddlers so it works out perfectly. and after years upon years of shunning pda, i’m a frequent offender…i guess you have to find that right person!

My FI is totally a dog..selfless and affectionate, while as I am unpredictable and always in a “leave me alone” mood like a cat.

FI and I both love to cuddle, but between the two of us, he’s definitely the more affectionate. No way I’m complaining, though! I love it!

I’m a dog…WAIT–that didn’t come out right.

I am the more affectionate one, although FI has glowing moments of being affectionate. He brings me flowers, cards, “I love you” emails, etc. In the end, I definitely inch ahead with the day-to-day displays of affection. Both of us are not PDA-ers, though, and he’s very accommodating with my “lets cuddle!” pleas.

I’d say we’re about even on that one, although it varies on the day, or the time of the month! lol….

We are both very much cuddlers, but non-PDA-ers. When we’re alone, though, it’s like constant cuddlage! lol

We’re both almost always physically affectionate–cuddling, snuggling, etc. But I’m more “I love you”-y and into little acts of blatant affection.

i say me, he disagrees - we show our affection in different ways, i’m more of a cuddler/kisser, while he prepares dinner and makes me coffee every morning before I wake up.

Generally all men are like dogs and all women are like cats…at least I thought. Give “men” some food and some loving and they will be happy….but us…independent like cats…lol….
