Energy Drinks for the Wedding Day

November 27th, 2006 @ 11:59 am by Mrs. Apple

You all know you will be exhausted on your wedding day. It will be a long 20 hour day starting from 5am and lasting to midnight or later (at least for ours it will be). My fiance mentioned (jokingly but truthfully) he’ll be needing at least 2 and possibly 3 bottles of Xyience Cran/Razz Energy Drink to keep us alert and energized for the long day ahead. He saw this product being sold on late night television - you know those cheesy commericals at 3 in the morning. 8O

We don’t normally consume energy drinks on a daily basis but since we’ll be expecting little sleep that week our energy will be pretty low.

While my fiance will be sipping on Xyience, I might just get myself a bottle of “Who’s Your Daddy Green Tea?” Energy Drink. ;)

This was a pretty cute one for those B2B’s that would like to coordinate with their pink and white color scheme.

I found a website that had user ratings and descriptions of the latest and greatest on energy drinks and Go Girl, Who’s Your Daddy?, and Xyience all had good reviews.

With your wedding day approaching, how will you B2B’s do it? And for those married weddingbee readers, how did you do it?

Could be a good idea for some, but I think it would make me *way* too shaky and nervous and hyper–not the way I want to be on my wedding day!

we were prepared with redbull, but the adrenaline on the wedding day was all we needed.

bleh. I don’t like energy drinks… I hope I’m like Miss BOP and the adrenaline kicks in on it’s own.

i’d be careful because if you’re not used to consuming that much caffeine, it could make you super jittery and nervous. i’m sensitive to caffeine so i didn’t have any energy plan day of. i did however have tylenol pm with me in case i couldn’t sleep the night before. i think a good night’s sleep is your best bet to be energetic on your wedding day. oh but don’t ever mix tylenol with alcohol!!

i agree with the cautions above! caffeine wreaks havoc on me, making my eyes twitch and the whole 9 yards. also, the crash off caffeine for me is terrible… if you have time, i’d suggest trying to keep your energy up naturally– pack each other little snacks of apples and fruit for the day of, to keep your sugar up, and maybe bite sized sandwiches of pb&j or something to keep your body processing complex sugars.

Have you guys tried Rhino Two Horns? it has no caffeine and is 100% natural. This stuff works better than the regular energy drinks and is good for you.
