There was a great layout of different ways to use pinecones as decor in Real Simple magazine this month.
I know many brides are looking for ways to incorporate nonflower centerpieces and decor into their weddings, so I thought I’d do a little more research. The pine cone wreaths above are from Dry Nature in New York. Dry Nature sells wreaths, wood, branches, leaves, containers, shells, and many more unique “dried” items. They also do custom work like this:

Another great resource is Pinecones.com which doesn’t do custom work, but offers a huge, affordable variety of pine cones, branches, mosses, pods, shells/stones and other dried goods. These are some images of their products featured in various magazines:

You get this many pine cones with a $40 sample box of cones.

There’s something rustic and homey about pine cones, and they’re sure to provide an interesting, textural element to your winter wedding decor.
