We ordered my wedding band from Best Gem about two weeks ago. It was the same style as one I’d liked at the jewelry store my e-ring came from, and I was really hopeful that I’d like the online one (though I’d prepared myself for the possibility that I’d take one look at it and want to send it back). Except for a small glitch in shipping (DHL’s fault, not Best Gem’s) the entire transaction went very smoothly and quickly.

Mr. Blueberry won’t let me post pictures of it (he wants me to surprise y’all after the wedding) but let’s just say I wasn’t disappointed! It looks fantabulous–even better than it looked online, and it fits *so* well against my e-ring! On our way out of St Louis we stopped by a reputable jeweler and had them verify the quality of the ring–that all the diamonds are real, that it’s really 18k gold, etc. It all checked out OK, of course :).

Before I even received it, Mr. Blueberry told me I could try it on twice: once to make sure it fits, and another time in KC to show my mom and dad. Well my “once” translated to “put it on as soon as I get it and leave it on for the entire drive to Kansas City.” And then my “another time” translated to “put it on to show my parents, then leave it on for the rest of the evening.” It looks so amazing with my e-ring, and I love wearing it. Even if I’m not really married yet :).

So it stays in Kansas City while I’m here in my college town. I can be free from the temptation to wear it :).

All in all, I must say that Best Gem is *incredible*! Lisa, the lady I communicated with via email, was incredibly helpful and always replied promptly to my questions. The quality of the diamonds was as promised, and they’re very well-matched. A great experience, that resulted in me getting a very high-quality ring. I couldn’t be happier!
