Thanks so much for all your feedback on the new Mrs. Bee character! Character #1, as you see above, was the overwhelming reader favorite. I asked Irene, our very talented artist, to do a couple of variations on the bee based on reader suggestions: blue wings, a flying trail, black antenna, etc.

The first column bees are simple, the second column bees have gradient color, the third column bees have a flying trail, and the fourth column bees have a heart trail.

I think they turned out great! Please let us know which one you like best.

Several readers have commented that the original Mrs. Bee icon was their favorite, but unfortunately we didn’t own full rights to it so we had to have a new one commissioned. Maybe once you get used to it, the new Mrs. Bee will become your favorite!

Okay, my vote is for 3rd row down, first column! (Blue wings, black antennae, no gradient/trail) Super cute!!! But I care more about 3rd row than about any of the columns. Hehe not that my vote is the only one that counts, but just for what it’s worth!

i like the blue heart wings, black antennae- but im greedy - can you do gradient AND the heart trail? that would get my vote ^^ i was even going to say the flying trail too but i realized maybe too much trailing going on…

I like the blue wings, NOT heart shaped, without gradient color, and black antennae. So that’s none. BUT if I had to choose, I’d choose 1st column third down, real bees don’t have the gradient color, do they?

I like the 2nd row and the rest I’m fine with.

The reason why I pick the green wings is because it seems more inline with the colors of the website.

Asthetically, I like the blue, but the green matches the website.

hum, the green wings remind me of shamrocks, but i like the darkness of the green, which isn’t expressed with the blue wings. i know the blue wings are supose to be transparent, but if they were a bit darker, i think it’d balance the body of the bee better.

I like black antennae, blue non-heart wings, with the heart trail. Actually, maybe you could angle the wings a little bit to make them look like a heart! =D

You have to use the bees with the trail! So cute, the ultimate “busy bee” doing its important heart-delivery business. The other bees look stagnant.
