This site is a psuedo-vendor but has some of the most beautiful papers for DIY invites, place cards, programs, directions, etc. They cut to your exact sizes and have envelopes to match all the papers. Plus, it has the cheapest prices you will find on the internet!

I think it is specific to the California area, but it actually gives price estimates for a TON of reception sites.
Aside from weddingbee, the forum on LI Weddings has been really helpful to me. The brides on there give honest, detailed reviews of all of their vendors..as well as pictures!
